This release adds the Project Import/Export System—save complete story projects as portable files and restore them in any plotTree workspace. Useful for backups, moving between accounts, or sharing complete projects. We’ve also done significant infrastructure work to improve stability and code quality.

New Features

Project Import/Export System

Export your entire project as a portable file—everything comes with it: characters, vault objects, scenes, frameworks, sections, plot lines, and all story settings. Import it into any plotTree workspace to restore the complete project. The system validates data during import and handles conflicts automatically.

Good for backups. Good for moving projects between accounts. Good for sharing complete story structures with collaborators.

Improvements

Scene Scaling

Scene generation now uses minScenes constraints to prevent oversized scenes during AI planning. Scenes stay within reasonable length bounds while maintaining narrative coherence.

Infrastructure Overhaul

We reorganized the entire codebase into a cleaner structure and expanded test coverage significantly. This work improves long-term stability and makes future features easier to ship reliably.

Various logging and error handling improvements
